Sleep can be a hard thing to find Slain by the many problems in mind Some may resort to Warm milk Or possibly to the counting sheep surrounding themselves in mounds of silk but even so it's hard to sleep It would be nice to dream Soaring in skies so bright Floating on rivers of cream If only the rest of the night. Before we know it's dawn morning hits you as a slap stretching out with a yawn What? Oh did I take a nap? Maybe my problems are all done Forgive me now I have to run.

It's been said that what a person thinks of as beautiful is created by those which they share their time, a cross burning may think it is beauty in it's highest but the patriot will think otherwise. Human beings have the capability to overcome what their upbringing and lives have tought them, to think for themselves if you will. So if a person can overcome their deeply engrained theories of beauty can't anything be beautiful. If thats true how can we truely disclaim another's ablity? In thier eyes it could be the most beautiful thing every to grace the world, and who are we to argue?

Artist's creed

I am an artist. A member of the human race, a protector of the truth. Because I am proud of my art and my soul I will never destroy another's. I am proud of my medium; I will do anything in my power to be loyal to my soul and my friends. As an artist I realize I am a member of a time-honored profession. That I'm doing my part to keep alive my principles and beliefs. No matter what situation I'm in I'll never do anything that would disgrace or silence my soul. Halloween/Samhain Contest!

I light of the approaching holidays I have started another contest. The rules are simple. Submit a piece (of any kind) That truly captures the spirit of either holiday.
